OBLIGATIONS OF EHRAAM
There are three obligations of wearing Ehraam:
1. Wearing Ehraam:
Putting a cloth like robe and covering lower part of body with a sheet.
2. Intention (Niyyat) :
Two aspects of intention should be borne in mind.
(a) Intention should be 'Qurbatan Ilallaah' i.e. for the nearness and obedience of Allah one is wearing the Ehraam.
(b) One should decide whether he is wearing Ehraam for Umrah or Hajj for himself or for the sake someone else.
لَبَّیْكَ اَللّٰهُمَّ لَبَّیْكَ لَبَّیْكَ لَا شَرِیْكَ لَكَ لَبَّیْكَ اِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَ النِّعْمَۃَ لَكَ وَ الْمُلْكَ لَا شَرِیْكَ لَكَ لَبَّیْكَ۔
3. Talbiyah (assurance of being at Allah's beck and call): It means reciting the following:
