GRAVEYARD OF H. ABU TALIB (A)

It is also called 'Hujoon' and 'Jannatul Mo'lla'. After 'Jannatul Baqi' it is the most glorified graveyard. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) used to visit it often.

The ancestor of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.), Abd Munaf, grandfather Abdul Muttalib, uncle Abu Talib, wife Khadijah (s.a.), other great scholars and believers are buried in this graveyard.

According to another narration, the mother of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.), Amina binte Wahab is also buried here. But it is famous that her grave is in 'Abwa' which is between Mecca and Medina.
