TYPES OF HAJJ

There are three types of Hajj:

1. Hajj-e-Tamatto

It is the duty for those who are at a distance of more than 48 miles (16 farsakhs). Hajj-e-Tamatto is with Umrah-e- Tamatto .

2. Hajj-e-Ifraad

It is same as Hajj-e-Tamatto. Only difference is that it is obligatory to sacrifice an animal in Hajj-e-Tamatto and sacrifice is not obligatory in Hajj-e-Ifraad.

3. Hajj-e-Qeran

It is like Hajj-e-Afraad but it is obligatory to bring the animal to be sacrified oneself. Refer the books of rites of pilgrimage for the details of the types of Hajj.
