Sayyid Ali bn Taaus in Mahju Dda'waah said: we have narrated through the chain of Muhammad bn Ahmad bn Ibrahim Al-Ja'afi popularly known as Saaban. The occultation of Imam Al-Mahdi peace be on him was mentioned there in, I said: what shall Your followers do? He said:

Be aware of supplication and expectation of relief, verily knowledge shall appear to you, then you give praise to God and hold fast with what appeared to you I said: with what shall we supplicates? He said: recite the following:

اَللّٰهُمَّ اَنْتَ عَرَّفْتَنِيْ نَفْسَكَ، وَعَرَّفْتَنِيْ رَسُوْلَكَ، وَعَرَّفْتَنِيْ مَلَاۤئِكَتَكَ وَعَرَّفْتَنِيْ نَبِيَّكَ، وَعَرَّفْتَنِيْ وُلَاةَ اَمْرِكَ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ لَا اٰخِذَ اِلَّا مَا اَعْطَيْتَ، وَلَا وَاقِيَ اِلَّا مَا وَقَيْتَ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ لَاتُغَيِّبْنِيْ عَنْ مَنَازِلِ اَوْلِيَاۤئِكَ، وَلَاتُزِغْ قَلْبِيْ بَعْدَ اِذْ هَدَيْتَنِيْ۔اَللّٰهُمَّ اهْدِنِيْ لِوِلَايَةِ مَنِ افْتَرَضْتَ طَاعَتَهُ۔
