اَللّٰهُمَّ تَقَبَّلْ مِنِّیْ وَ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنِّیْ اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ بِمَحَامِدِهٖ كُلِّهَا عَلٰی نَعْمَآئِهٖ كُلِّهَا حَتّٰی یَنْتَهِیَ الْحَمْدُ اِلٰی مَا یُحِبُّ وَ یَرْضٰی اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ آلِهٖ وَ تَقَبَّلْ مِنِّیْ وَ طَهِّرْ قَلْبِیْ وَ زَكِّ عَمَلِیْ۔
It is recommended to recite Surah Tawheed after Surah Hamd in the first rakat and Surah Kafiroon after Surah Hamd in the second rakat. One should praise Allah and send salutations on Mohammed and his progeny. One should pray for its acceptance and say:
اَللّٰهُمَّ ارْحَمْنِیْ بِطَاعَتِیْ اِیَّاكَ وَ طَاعَۃِ رَسُولِكَ صَلَّی اللّٰهُ عَلَیْهِ وَ آلِهٖ وَ سَلَّمَ اَللّٰهُمَّ جَنِّبْنِیْ اَنْ اَتَعَدّٰی حُدُوْدَكَ وَ اجْعَلْنِیْ مِمَّنْ یُحِبُّكَ وَ یُحِبُّ رَسُوْلَكَ وَ مَلَآئِكَتَكَ وَ عِبَادَكَ الصَّالِحِیْنَ۔
According to another tradition:
سَجَدَ لَكَ وَجْهِیْ تَعَبُّدًا وَّ رِقًّا لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ حَقًّا حَقًّا اَلْاَوَّلُ قَبْلَ كُلِّ شَیْئٍ وَ الْآخِرُ بَعْدَ كُلِّ شَیْئٍ وَ هَا اَنَا ذَا بَیْنَ یَدَیْكَ نَاصِیَتِیْ بِیَدِكَ فَاغْفِرْ لِیْ اِنَّهٗ لَا یَغْفِرُ الذَّنْبَ الْعَظِیْمَ غَیْرُكَ فَاغْفِرْ لِیْ فَاِنِّیْ مُقِرٌّ بِذُنُوْبِیْ عَلٰی نَفْسِیْ وَ لَا یَدْفَعُ الذَّنْبَ الْعَظِیْمَ غَیْرُكَ۔
Another narration states that I. Sadiq (a) used to perform prostration after the prayer of circumambulation and say:
After prostration, his face used to be wet with tears as if it had been dipped in water.
